English heritage at the center of your kitchen.

Start conversations. We restore Aga stoves made from 1941. Family and friends will wonder what events it has already been part of. These stoves have seen world wars, GI's, royal coronations and men on the moon. A stove in daily use for up to 84 years, now ready for another chapter, is no ordinary stove. Give it some more stories to tell of your family.

Our cookers are original Aga cookers remanufactured to like new condition. Powered by electricity they still cook with gentle radiant heat via cast iron ovens. Turn each part of the stove on or off independently and choose the exact temperature you want.

What does remanufactured mean?

"To restore a product to like-new quality in both its performance and appearance with a warranty that is equivalent or better than that of a newly manufactured product." BSI (British Standards Institute)

101 new parts, 8 restored, 17 re-enamelled. 30 hours dedicated by 8 craftsmen. Not a second choice. Remanufactured Aga cookers with a 7-year parts warranty as standard. Only from Blake & Bull.

Family owned, we think in generations not financial quarters. We've built an extraordinary reputation, we mean to keep it.

Touch screen control

Powered by electricity Blake & Bull cookers are controllable and connected. The touch screen gives you control of each part of the stove. Change oven temperatures separately, set programs to turn off (or down to rest mode) and control the hotplates individually.

An optional remote screen (wired) means you can move the controls to your worktop or wall mount.

Control the ovens remotely or create more complex programs via the connected app on your phone.

Optional extras include induction hobs, radiant halogen and, for 4 oven cookers, upgraded warming cupboards and warming plates.

More Color Choice

At Blake & Bull we offer every colour ever made, in the same vitreous enamel, plus a few more! 'Porcini' and 'Oak Moss' are just 2 of our Blake & Bull exclusive enamel colours.

Get the right colour for your Aga cooker with our enamel sample tiles. Perfectly sized to help you plan your kitchen.

Customise your stove further with different trim styles like antique brass and bright copper.

Coalbrookdale by night, 1801

This is the Coalbrookdale iron foundry, the oldest in the world, in 1801. Every Aga stove was made there until it closed in 2017. Every cooker we ship was made in Coalbrookdale.

We use original Aga cooker castings and remanufacture them at Hartley Farm near the Georgian city of Bath.

Aga Stove FAQs

The cost of running a Blake & Bull remanufactured electric Aga can vary widely, depending on how you use it. Unlike traditional Agas, these cookers can be easily turned on and off, giving you more control over energy consumption.

On average, you can expect to spend between $20 - $30 per week, which is a significant saving compared to the $40 = $50 weekly cost associated with similar gas or oil Agas.

Choosing a Blake & Bull reconditioned Aga is more than just a practical decision—it's a chance to own a piece of history, updated for modern living.

These cookers are known for their durability, thanks to their cast iron construction, which can last indefinitely with proper care. At Blake & Bull, we recondition and re-enamel these iconic cookers, ensuring they continue to serve reliably for many years to come.

Converted electric Aga cookers do not require a flue, as they no longer emit harmful gases like carbon monoxide.

While it is possible to vent the ovens into an existing flue, most of the electric Agas we install are room-vented.

This method helps maintain efficiency by preventing cold air from entering the cooker, allowing the flue to be blocked or even removed if desired.

Our cookers are shipped to the US with detailed instructions. They will need to be assembled by a qualified electrician. They can be assembled into difficult to reach places like basements and upper floor apartments.

We can offer support as needed, although assembly should be straightforward for a professional.

Yes! All our cookers come with a 7-year warranty as standard.

This covers most parts on your cooker. We can even guide you through fixing/replacing these as needed!

Before installing your cooker, it’s important to understand the electrical supply requirements.

There are two induction hob options available: 1.6kW and 3.0kW, both fitting into the left-hand aperture. Your electrician will need to ensure the correct supply is in place, either by installing a new circuit or utilizing an existing one.

One of the advantages of Blake & Bull’s Electrickit electric Aga conversions is that they require no servicing, unlike gas or oil cookers.

This contributes to the lower running costs associated with our electric models.

You Aga is safely shipped securely by sea, taking around 20 days from dispatch.

Of course, the cooker will need to be built first, which usually takes between 7 - 9 weeks depending on your requirements.

Shipping to the US on all our cookers and is fully insured. Costs for shipping are highly competitive, calculated according to your zip code.
